Flash Firmware Files to Your Sony Xperia Device with Flashtool 0 9 10 1 Windows Exe

ruckus is a usb wireless adapter. it is available in two models: 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. i used the 2.4 ghz model. the problem is that the firmware on the device did not match the version found on the ruckus dual 2.4 ghz page. to make matters worse, the adapter would not recognize the firmware update even though it was the same version as the original firmware. the firmware update worked on windows 10 but would not work on windows 7. i used this procedure to update the firmware on the ruckus device.

setting up the usb stick to boot freedos is a bit tricky. there are several places where you can find instructions. after a lot of searching, i found this post on the supermicro forums. they provide instructions on how to create a bootable usb from windows 7/8/8.1/10 using ruckus firmware. for this procedure, i used this supermicro page. the page provides a link to a zip file that contains the setup.exe, ruckusfw.msi, and the firmware.

once you have downloaded the windows installer or the executable, launch the installer or executable and follow the instructions on screen. the windows installer will create a start menu group and install a usb cdc driver for your sam devices that is compatible with bossa. make sure to only download the 64-bit version of the installer if you are running on a 64-bit version of windows. you can optionally download the executable versions of bossa if you are sure you already have a usb cdc driver installed by atmel's sam-ba or other software.

we are going to use bossa for downloading the android apps on windows pc. as we have already seen, bossa has an option to select any one of your android device. but we need to download the apps on our windows pc. this can be done by using bluetooth to transfer the apps to your windows pc. you will need to pair the bluetooth with your android phone and turn on the bluetooth on your windows pc. then you will be able to transfer the android apps to your windows pc.
